“My sketchbooks are a sort of visual diary of my travels and adventures. They are not seen by many people. A one-of-a-kind book of drawings and notes is hard to exhibit. I have created this page in order to share with you some of the scribblings and drawings from my numerous sketchbooks. A glimpse into the initial inspirations integral to my creative process.”

| I will always love big cats. They have inspired many paintings. Zoos are often the best place to see big cats as they are elusive in the wild and hard to see. I will often sit and draw early in the morning before they get tired of all the visitors and sketch them. Even when they are snoozing, they make wonderful subjects.
