A Typical Day at El Molino
Join me for a beautiful art experience of rural Spain!
Just a short distance from the coast of southern Spain, with fresh seafood and local spanish fair prepared daily by world class chief, Mike Powell.
Sit and read near the pool after a morning of immersive art instruction or wander through olive groves and the Spanish countryside.
Return to the studio for more creating after lunch or take a siesta.
Enjoy the ambiance of a gourmet evening meal and as the sun sets and the conversation of the guests.
Experience the wonders of Cordoba, Ronda and a spanish riding stable on the all-inclusive excursions.
Attend a Flamenco dance performance over dinner.
Soak up the warm spring sun and the colours, sights and sounds of Andalucia.

About the Location and Workshop
The El Molino, a beautiful old flour mill renovated into a European country house with comfortable rooms and studio space in rural Andalucia, will be the location for the El Molino Studio Session.
This trip is for anyone interested in a travel experience that blends a fabulous get away with learning or furthering creative exploration through painting or drawing. I will be moulding the self-directed concepts of my studio classes to the relaxed and secluded pace of El Molino. Along with some En Plein Air techniques and demos for those who are interested in painting the gorgeous landscape, grounds and Spanish courtyards of this beautiful place, we will also have the opportunity to visit an Andalusian Stable to spend some time watching and drawing the magnificent horses of Spain.

Dates for the trip are May 7 to 17, 2012.
The retreat is all inclusive for 10 nights, with 3 excursions to historic Spanish locales and all gourmet meals and beverage.
The cost per participant is $3,890 plus your airfare.
$600 deposit required upon registration to reserve your spot.
